As I shared on May 24, 2023, I have launched a new workshop called Potential N2 Reality: The Power of KAF in Your Life! You may read the announcement here.

In preparation for the June 24th workshop, I will share a series of articles to provide more context about the Hebrew letter KAF.

This post was to be my first post about KAF. But in writing it, I kept getting stuck! So ironic, given my workshop is about getting unstuck. So I decided to practice what I preach and use KAF to get clarity with my post.

My petition was simple: Lord, help me get unstuck and write this article.

I was about five minutes in when I heard these simple yet powerful words:

Perfection is not the goal.

Those words melted my heart. I sat in quietness just letting that reality wash over me. I was moved to tears, because it was so obvious looking in hindsight. I had become so preoccupied with getting every word and concept right and justifying my positions that I had completely missed the point. Instead of ease and clarity, I twisted myself into verbal knots and a fit of consternation.

The reality is that I didn’t receive the insight around KAF through seeking perfection, and I surely won’t be able to share it with others through such striving.

Moving forward, my commitment  is to walk in surrender and grace. To focus not only on the task at hand, but also the spirit behind the task as well. Sometimes that will look nice and polished, and others it may be downright messy. I’m here for all of it.

And I invite you to join me.

With you on the journey,

April
